Rocking Out, Right the Hell Out of Here.

I'm leaving work early. Happy stinking New Year's, and all.

Off to Target for lightbulbs and a cup off coffee, then back to kick AMF's sweet sweet ass at raquetball. I let her win last night, but tonight, I'm not feeling as charitable.

Keep your hips swinging, folks.

Imagine Seeing a Two-Year Old Stumbling Around Like a Drunk.

That's what Fox News just asked me to imagine. I'm trying to imagine it now, but it's difficult. Two year olds stumble; that's just what they do. I don't think I'd ever see a two year old stumbling around and think, "man- he's stumbling just like a little drunk. He's stumbling just like his old man!"

Then, Googling brings me this. Live and learn. I guess it's the bloodshot eyes.

I also found an article starting that Chicago's Berghoff Restaurant is closing. I only ate there once, and was a bit underwhelmed, but I did spend a couple of enjoyable evenings having drinks there after work. It's certainly a landmark, and it seems a shame that it will be going away. Progress, right? See you Fields, and see you Berghoff.

Nothing to Do.

It's a boring Saturday night, and I have a cold.

I spent part of the day at the mall, trudging through crowds, and standing in long lines. A bit fried, I picked up some Taco Bell on the way home and took a long nap.

And, that's basically been it. I'm going to call a do over and hopefully get some stuff done tomorrow.

Right now, I'm drinking a beer, and I think I'm going to try to record some stuff.

That's it.
